Bangalore to Yarcaud (Hill station), Distance 230 KM

We have booked our hotels from OYO portal before started this trip.

Day 1

Morning 7 O’clock morning we are getting ready for the trip and packed eating and drinking staff for our journey. Around 8 O’clock we started from Mahadevapura, Bangalore and our target was to reach Yarcaud at 1 O’clock. 10 O’clock we crossed Karnataka and enter Hosur, Tamilnadu, and stop here for brunch in the Shree Shraavana bhavan restaurant, you can read the review of this hotel below this link https://goo.gl/maps/BmKxyn21MnSkLhGb7 after having the brunch purchased glasses and drinking water from here and again we resume our journey towards Yarcaud. There are two routes to reach Yarcaud hill from Salem city. 1 is started before the city and 2nd route will be in the mid of the city, so we have chosen the first one this route passes from the small villages. I would like to mention here a few more things about this journey 1st about the climate, whenever you are planning for the trip always check for the weather and a suitable month and second thing always have a good driver because in my car no one has much experience in driving, and we were going for the hill station trip where many narrow road and hairpin band was there. It was raining us after driving 7 to 8 km we realize that we have chosen the wrong route because on this route we are not seeing any vehicles. The road was also not much good but only one thing was great it was the weather I have shared a few photos. We reached Yarcaud on our target time while going top of the hills it was fully covered by clouds and in some places, heavy rain started. After reaching the hotel, we got to know the hotel is under maintenance and no one has informed us https://goo.gl/maps/pFSqeW6sweZdgHLq5 . It was a horrible experience I have ever faced, and it was a weekend so it’s very less chance to get rooms in the other hotels we visited a few hotels but none of them had the rooms, and some was having but the location was not good. We got tired we went to one coffee shop, and we talk to a couple of people who shared one resort number we called them and us able to get a room for 1 day because few people are not able to reach the resort because of the heavy rain.

Resort was awesome and our room was in the corner so we are very happy the resort was in the forest so we little scared because of the wild animal, and they said nothing will come here because they have wired phasing. The resort’s name was Grange https://goo.gl/maps/qpVdit7t23e3WAHE6 you can see my review here.

So same day we started going for the local site seeing and the first site was the waterfalls
