We recently visited Banff, Jasper and Yoho National Park in Alberta and British Colombia, Canada. We started our journey from San Francisco. We flew in to Calgary. We stayed in Canmore, which is 30 mins drive from Banff downtown. We rented a car from Calgary airport and drove to Banff downtown to explore the few POIs on the day we arrived.
City of Banff! Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, this charming mountain town is a harmonious blend of culture, adventure, and breathtaking landscapes. Join me to explore enchanting city of Banff through the pictures I have captured during my trip.
Our first stop was at Lac Des Arc Parking lot, where you can enjoy the view of spectacular lake and Mountain ranges
Once we reached Banff town we parked at free parking lot close to the visitor center. Place was very busy with lot of tourist visiting during summer. Here you can see some mountains from one of the Banff town streets.
Since we had only half day on our first day in Banff, we decided to walk on Bow River trail and visit Bow falls. Trail is very close to the down town area. Trail itself is easy hike. Here is a shot of Banff pedestrian bridge, which leads to Art in nature trail next to the bow river. Walk through the Banff Art in the Nature Trail, where masterpieces of creativity seamlessly blend with the inspiring beauty of the natural world.

Here is another shot of pedestrian bridge on the other side of bow river, where the Art of Nature trail starts. Again you can see the mountain ranges in the backgroud.
For those who appreciate the art of photography, the Art in the Nature Trail is a dream come true. Each twist and turn presents a new angle to capture the dynamic relationship between art and nature. Whether you’re using a smartphone or a professional camera, you’ll find no shortage of captivating scenes to immortalize.

After a good walk on Nature Trail, we headed back to the down town area for the dinner. Again crossing this pedestrian bridge.
We ended up visiting a Mexican restaurant for the dinner. Check out my review of Anejo Restaurant
