We visited Banff in summer of 2023. We started our journey from San Francisco. We flew in to Calgary. We stayed in Canmore, which is 30 mins drive from Banff downtown. On Day 4 after visiting Yoho National Park, after coming back from Yoho National Park to Banff downtown, we visited the Cascade of Time Gardens, which is located at the end of Banff Avenue, right across the Bow river.

Check out for Day 1, 2, 3 Part I & Part II and 4 Details here:

Day 1: Banff National Park: Day 1: Banff

Day 2: Banff National Park Day 2: Gondola, Lake Louise and Lake Moraine

Day 3: Banff National Park Day 3: Ice Fields Parkway Part I

Banff National Park Day 3: Ice Fields Parkway Part II

Day 4: Yoho National Park

Here is the entrance to Time of Cascade Garden located right behind Banff administrative buildings. Summer is the best time to visit with all the flowers blooming. Carrying a camera is a must to capture the breathtaking views from the garden and of course garden it self.

Here is a shot of Banff Avenue right from the garden, you can also see the peaks of Canadian Rockies in this picture

There are several ponds and small waterfalls through out the garden.

Garden contains vibrant blooms of roses, lilies, delphiniums, and lupines that paint the summer months in breathtaking color. You can also find several Gazebos in the garden.

Here is a shot of a pond and a waterfall in the garden.

Here is a close up of pond and few Gazebos in the background.

Garden is surrounded by Canadian Rockies. Garden gets busy during summer, since many visitors come to visit Banff National Park

Another shot in the garden, with more flowers and waterfalls.

Here is a shot of Gazebo, surrounded with a pond and flowers.

Through out the garden you will find Winding stone pathways.

There are several benches like this one through out the garden to sit and enjoy the nature.

Here is another shot of a water pond and the waterfall.

Through out the garden you find many little ponds and waterfalls.

Here are some more ponds in this picture

Here is one final shot of Banff avenue from the garden. Overall this is a must visit garden, since specially located right in the downtown Banff.

It’s amazing to see the special things

Beautifully photographed

It was so relaxing post to travel through your beautiful photos with my eyes. :sparkling_heart: The vibrants colors of the flowers are so pretty; I especially love the dark purple and blue hues. The name of the garden is also really pretty- Cascade of Time. I can just imagine living right in the middle of the garden and being able to escape to tranquility. :two_hearts:
