Bancakan traditional food -Traditional thanksgiving

Bancakan is often held for thanksgiving or salvation.
Bancakan after children recover from illness, children aged 40 days.
or children to stay healthy.

Bancakan usually consists of:
Rice
Vegetables (gudangan)
Egg
Salted fish
Fruit.

Bancakan is distributed in a place made of banana leaves called pincuk or takir.

Could you please tell us a bit more about the Traditional thanksgiving? How do you celebrate? Is it more like a family thing, or national? I really like sweet and salty flavored dishes and we usually use fruits with meat in Hungary.

How do you prepare this food? Do you fry the fish?

Bancakan is often made when a child’s birthday or child recovers from illness.
Bancakan also for thanksgiving because what is desired is achieved.
Bancakan complete with fruit.
I did not make this mess but got bancakan.

Bancakan tradition in Java, especially Central Java.

This food tastes good because it is eaten crowded and rarely eats.
