Balnearios de el sur de la Republica Dominicana

Something that I love is being able to help other people complete adventures to get out of the routine and explore new trails new places that inspire adventure.
Here we would like to invite you to take a tour of the southern spas of the Dominican Republic, where we will present you with the 10 best places to take a dip at low cost, and we want to present you the best ones according to our experience.
Depending on where you travel and where you want to take your first dip, but if you travel from the north east and holy Sunday southbound Barahona, Pedernales, Jimani, Neyba, here the places you can not miss, the order does not mean it is the best or the worst is only from where the route starts.
1- In Pedernales: Cabo Rojo, it is a heavenly place with crystalline waters with a turquoise blue, with virgin beaches and beautiful landscapes, warm water and sands of engravings la, it is adorned by a gigantic lonely and ghostly stranded boat that contrasts with the environment .
2- In Pedernales, about 400 meters from the road, there is the Salado River, an only two thousand square meters arrea of crystalline and brackish water is easily accessible by vehicle.
3- Already belonging to Barahona we have several spas both fresh water and salt water and is that the rivers are so close to the beach that remains undecided which side to jump, “fresh water water room”, the first and most emblematic of the area is the spa of Los Patos, a waterfall of crystal clear water falling from the mountain and ending less than 500 meters into the sea.
4- The Dos RĂos Spa, usually confused with the San Rafael spa, and is that the proximity they have with the same structure and in the same town is very easy to confuse, only that this is in the northern side of the road , the second river is in the south side, but it is in a private villa, it can be consulted for accommodation.
5- San Rafael Spa, as well as that of Los Patos, this is very close to the sea and a strong flow because here the two rivers have joined, the water temperature in both spas is relatively low from 10 to 15 degrees.
6- Balneario La Zurza, is a spa with sulphurous water and exudes an odor sometimes not very pleasant for some bathers, it consists of several swimming pools for adults and children.
7- Boca de CachĂłn in Jimani, northwest side of Lake Enriquillo, a spa with warm waters, emanating from the mountains of the Scientific Reserve Las Caobas, if you are in these surroundings you should not miss the opportunity to take a dip, eye is very busy for the locals.
8- In the town of Las Descubierta, belonging to the province of Independencia, you can find the Las Barias spa, with low-temperature, grayish water that tends to confuse bathers.
9- At the exit of Neiba east west, there is another spa which we have not had the opportunity to give me the dip, but the water looks crystal clear and clean.
10 - Already a little remote and lonely in the town of the pole belonging back to Barahona, this Mata de Maiz spa, only that it is a little alleged of everything, and the vehicles must be in good condition to get there.
If someone has another opinion and wants to make welcome suggestion be it, remember the order does not mean a valuation of the spa, they are all public and we should visit sometime
