Hello Everyone,
There is a famous saying in Marathi ![]()
(जगावं तर असं जगावं की इतिहासाने आपल्यासाठी एक पान राखावं)
Live in such a way that history reserves a page for you.
Today’s post is about a person who has created a page for themselves in history.
The Google Doodle shown in the photo has been specially created by me for Savitribai Phule’s birth anniversary…![]()

Today is the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule, India’s first female teacher and a pioneering social reformer who fought for women’s education and rights in the 19th century.
She was born on January 3, 1831, and along with her husband Jyotirao Phule, she established the first school for girls in India at Bhide Wada in Pune in 1848.
The banner shown above was created by me using the Canva app…![]()

Savitribai Phule’s birthday is also celebrated as Girls’ Day…that is Balika Day
While working for women’s education, she faced strong opposition from society, but she continued her work of providing education to women and empowered them.
In honor of her work in social reform and women’s education, there is a university in Pune named after Savitribai Phule_ Savitribai Phule Pune Vidyapith.
Savitribai Phule Pune University
Today, I’m also educated because of the struggle and work for women’s education undertaken by Savitribai Phule…And I am proud of this.
On the occasion of her birth anniversary, I pay my humble respects to her.![]()
