Hi Google Moderators and Community Team,
I am writing to report a long-term issue with my Local Guides badge progress counters, which have been completely stuck/frozen for over a year despite my active contributions.
Current Stuck Counters:
Add new places: Stuck at 43 / 50
Add reviews (200+ characters): Stuck at 27 / 50
Add 1,000 photos: Stuck at 422 / 1000
I have consistently contributed approved place additions, detailed reviews exceeding the 200-character requirement, and photo uploads. However, none of the recent contributions are reflecting in my badge progress.
Could a moderator please check my account to see if there is a sync error, counter glitch, or an automated restriction that needs to be cleared?

You need to unrestrict your Maps profile under Settings, Location & Privacy, then at the bottom of the page, you find Restricted Profile.

I checked my settings under Settings > Personal content / Location & Privacy, and the “Restricted profile” option is already turned OFF (my profile is public).
In the last few days, I also tried troubleshooting this on my end by toggling the “Restricted profile” setting ON and OFF again, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Maps app. Unfortunately, the badge counters (Add places 43/50, Reviews 27/50, Photos 422/1000) remain completely frozen.
Since this seems to be a backend sync issue rather than an app or setting glitch, could you please escalate this so it can be technically checked out and solved by the team?

I looked at your Maps profile again, and none of your contributions are public. This probably means that the Spam filters took down everything from you. This would also explain why your badge metrics are stuck.
