To whom it may concern.

I tried to sent feed back to google maps in different moments. Didn’t get any answers, I can’t find a place or link to do it.

I am local guide trying to help this world to be better for everyone.

Is voluntary.

I had small locals problems 2 times and I decided to stop collaborating.

Is simple, we try to give vision to local businesses, local buildings etc, I have been asked, Why are you doing in my Business? I said, I am local guide from Google maps.

THEY ASK. “SHOW ME DOCUMENTS, BADGE”.

I can’t prove it. Some countries have culture and laws that you can’t post pictures in a free way.

My point:

Can Google maps provide Badge at least that you can show and proof you are really helping?

What a better proof than showing your Local Guide profile in your App, @FRANKCOJIMAR ?

In there they will see that you are a Local Guide, and how you contribute. This is much better that a badge that can be fake, don’t you agree?

It happens with many local guides and reported as well. As it’s a voluntary so Google will not provide any printed ID Card, but we have badge on our Google Maps profile. So you can show them from your Mobile apps if necessary, otherwise leave the store if they don’t like to update any information on Google Maps for your safe side @FRANKCOJIMAR
