I’ve really been a big fan of Google Maps so far. Unfortunately, the current case deceives my motivation and positive mood.
Unfortunately, I had rightly given a company a bad rating with one star, which I really do very rarely.
Now I noticed that almost all bad reviews are regularly deleted at the company in question. All bad evaluations of the last 2 months I could understand and have been true - but they have always been deleted. Even individual reviews with 1 star without text have been removed.
Is there any way that my rating becomes visible again? It is so far my only review that is not displayed since I write Google reviews.
I really don’t think it’s okay for a company to have all bad reviews deleted if they are also true. That can’t be the point of the rating principle.
If you sort reviews after Lowest you can see that there are several negative reviews that are not removed.
The veterinarian can not remove negative reviews. Only if a review is not following the guidelines from Google then it can be removed by Google.
You could remove your rating and the try to add a new review. A one star rating is not really helpful for anyone, so please add some text to explain your experience. If you avoid faul and very emotional words and add some details that prove you were actually there, he is not likely to be able to remove your review.
I looked briefly at his reviews. And I think it looks suspicious that so many of his positive reviews are from people with very few reviews. And many names do not sound very German to me. This could indicate that he might have been buying positive reviews to boost his business.
thank you for your answers. I deleted my review and rewrote it again, and this time I hope it won’t be deleted again.
I am convinced that the other reviews are genuine. However, a lot of negative reviews are reported and then deleted or no longer visible. This actually also happens on other sites where I was able to submit reviews - but then it has nothing to do with Google Maps
Unfortunately, it seems that certain words that were often included in the reviews (including mine) were enough for them to be deleted. And I find that very unfortunate, because the reviews also corresponded 100% to my situation on site.
Thank you again for your answer. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have been disappointed by Google Maps that this is possible to such an extent. For weeks, negative reviews were always there briefly and then disappeared.
In my opinion relying on Google ratings do not make sense anymore since many companies try to delete the bad ratings. Even if there are only 5 star ratings and one 2 star, so it is not authentic anymore and I find it very annoying to fight for real reviews when they are bad
