Regarding your second question:
It is correct that we are not allowed to review the place where we work. This does not mean that weare blocked from doing so. If detected you may get in trouble for it. So please delete your review of your work place. The rational is to prevent employers from asking their staff, friends and family to manipulate the number of stars.
The first is a bit more complicated. Basicalky, you are correct. Online only businesses are not eligible for a pin on Google Maps.
But businesses that provide service at people’s places like locksmiths and air conditioning cleaners and HVAC contractors without a shop can create what is called a Service Area Business. No address will be shown. Only a red shaded area indicating where they provide services to.
