When I started as a local guide, I could only imagine adding detailed reviews on local businesses mostly shops, hotels, restaurants and joints. I was glad that I could help users decide on which direction to go for their needs.
I visited a new business some weeks ago and realized that they needed as much help as possible since it’s along a freeway with very few houses or streets close to it. My first instinct was to add a review that is detailed, but I realized the business for that location was not on Google maps. A quick search on Google
showed how to suggest a missing place. I tried to add the business Fedini Marbles Ltd as a missing place and got stuck when I saw the field for pictures. I had to make another trip to the location to take pictures and place a mark on maps to submit my missing place.
How amazed and happy I was when I got a mail that Google map team have approved and listed my suggestion. Few weeks later I was more happy to see my listing of the business has helped scores of people and brought more customers for the business. I became aware of my ability to help new businesses get listed making their startup easier.
