Avri Mataji Mandir Tekri Road, Udaipur, Rajasthan

Avari Mataji Temple is a very popular Hindu temple located on Tekri Road in Udaipur at a distance of 3 km from City Palace. It was built by Rathore Rajput family. This temple is dedicated to Avari Mata who is also known as Rathore Rani.

According to legend, patients of paralysis, polio and other diseases are cured by the miraculous powers of the goddess, due to which devotees have immense faith in the goddess.

In the sanctum sanctorum, there is a beautiful black stone idol of Avari Mata Ji whose eyes are very beautiful and attractive, she is wearing a golden crown. In the pavilion in front of the sanctum sanctorum, there are two life size sitting brass lions.

This temple is very famous among the devotees and on special occasions the temple premises are filled with devotees. Special aarti is performed every day in the morning and evening.
