Hello LGs,
In the first week of December last year, we visited Ahmedbad, Gujarat, to celebrate Naresh Darji’s 50th meet-up at Rani ki Vav (here is the recap).
Before leaving for our home towns, we decided to visit some iconic locations around, so @Shrut19, @MayuriKubal, @SujataTawde, along with the Gujarat local guides, @Ptrivedi, @bhayani_naitik, and @NareshDarji bhai literally guided us around Ahmedbad before heading in for my supporting small business meet-up at teen darwaaja.
This iconic pedestrian bridge, Atal Bridge, on the Sabarmati River was our first choice. And truly, it was a fantastic, mesmerizing location developed, attracting the tourists and locals too.
We bought the tickets and started our walk on it. As per the rules, only 30 minutes are allowed to be spent on it, just to avoid the crowd.
Pranav bhai, a veteran photographer and local guide, gave us the brief about the bridge and how it has made a huge difference for tourism, along with other tourism places developed on the riverfront of the Sabarmati River, such as a flower garden, connecting this bridge.
It was a beautiful day with a clear sky, and we had a stunning view of the riverfront and surrounding city from it. The development alongside the riverfront is also amazingly done and attracts many, especially during the weekends and holidays.
The construction is very modern, with a colorful structure giving off the vibes of the Kites festival, which is very famous and symbolic in Gujarat.
This nearly 300-meter bridge provides a glimpse of Gujarat’s development and culture.
It’s a must-visit landmark in Gujarat for everyone.
Here is my review.
Cheers!
