As Local guide, have we got some discount on the google store ?

Because, I need to change my phone and want to buy a pixel 5.

I don’t think so. Last year there was a coupon awarded to local guides in Germany and maybe a few other countries. Nothing general. Sorry.

As there are well over 50 million Local Guides and it only takes minutes to become one, I’m afraid that such a blanket offer has not been made by Google at this time.

While as @Flash and @MortenCopenhagen have already mentioned, there is no “general” discount on the google store or for the Pixel 5 for the 150 MILLION Local Guides, as a Google One member you can get some discounts and special offers and from time to time I have seen Pixel discounts! You might like to check the Google One website to find out more about these.

Please be aware that you would not be eligible for any Google Store discounts through Google One. As you may have noticed they are store credits instead of discounts. In addition, the 10% credit is only on plans that are 2TB or higher, is not offered until you have been a paid member at least 30 days, and finally they are not available in your region.

I understand that we were a lot to contribute as a local guide. But we help google to have more and more contents. So, they could be do a little discount for good promotor :wink:

If we don’t pay, we don’t have “discount”. But you need to pay for having discount…so do we really need to pay ? ^^
