This simple exercise helps to figure out how big is our world!

It´s complicated but I hope to be in the Top10, even if it is in the last place!

I know right, @LightRich !

I was always thinking that I visited quite a lot of this world, but in the end it is just a tiny part.

For now, you are in the top 10, at spot # 4

That is a great line-up of countries, @Cagil !

I am curious, where have you been in Russia, and did you like it?

Like my map, you also visited only the northern part of the world, and the southern part is just a big white spot.

Do you have any plans in visiting the southern part such as Latin-America, Africa and Australia?

Wow, @ErmesT , you are the new king. :crown:

You have visited really a lot of interesting countries, glad to see!

Do you have any plans in visiting the 2 remaining continents that you are missing: Africa and Australia?

Oh, I make it to 14,41 but did visit 36 countries @Stphn .

Always small European countries…

@TorM is pushing @ErmesT off the throne, with 2 countries difference!

Torben, you need to go to Greenland or Canada to get your % up. :joy:

I’m not much of an international traveler @Stphn :joy: but I managed to have only 3 countries in total. That’s about 1.55% of the countries I think I saw haha.

United States

The Netherlands

Nigeria

Haha, Thank you @Stphn ,

My plan for the next years includes Africa and Oceania of course.

I have edited my post because I forgot Malta. Sorry about that.

I have also added the double data:

  • Countries only: 34 of 194 - 17,53%
  • Countries and dependencies: 36 of 243 - 14,81%

Which one is the one you are looking for?

Sounds great, @ErmesT !

I am looking for the number with the dependencies. Will update your numbers.

@LightRich I think the map should make it per state and not country for North America

My passion is traveling, and that is reflecting a bit in my numbers, @TusharSuradkar .

Thanks for sharing your world map! I noticed you have visited Germany and Hungary in Europe. Those are not the European destinations if someone which someone from another continent typically choose. I am curious to know, why specifically those?

Yes, I have traveled to India and it was by far my most favorite and most memorable country I have been to.

The people, the harmony, the culture, the atmosphere in India is unlike anywhere I have been.

I have been to Rajasthan: New Delhi, Jaipur, Pushkar and Agra (Taj Mahal) where afterwards I have been to North-Goa, Arambol. I LOVED IT!

@Stphn I love Spain and Portugal. I have been to Spain 5 times and am trying to learn Spanish!
