Are these photos the same? Part 1

Hey guys hope you’re all well. Just wanted your opinion on these 2 photos.

Q1. Are these photos considered the same?

It’s a cup with the company logo and details. The other shows what’s inside.

Q2. You can only upload one, which one would you choose and why?

It’s generally frowned upon to add multiple photos with slightly different angle, so it’s probably best to just pick one of them. Personally I like the 2nd photo better since it’s off angle and show what’s inside the cup.

Q3. If you drank the same type of tea from a different branch, for example you visited branch number one and had a cup of tea and then went to branch number two ordered the same type of tea. How would you take a picture without it being a “copy” of the first photo?

Hola , a lo mejor si la edita un poco o le cambia la resolución ,puede que así no tenga este problema…

“When in doubt, SUBMIT and find out”…I’ve been using this for a couple months now. Once it’s clear which one is the winner, I delete the other.

As for which I prefer, it doesn’t really matter. Google’s algo’s are going to decide which one they’ll promote/feature, if at all. I’ve been shooting/updating business building faces to show viewers what the building looks like today. I still take issue with what’s being ‘featured’/‘promoted’. Thing’s I’ve learned in this forum turn out to not be completely accurate. (shoot the whole building, making sure building numbers are evident and clear, etc). This is why I’ve adopted the slogan.

@waza28 Then those two photos will belong in different locations, so that’s fine.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the intention. There are many users trying to get as many points as possible by taking photo of the same object multiple times, just at slightly different angles, for the same location. This is not okay. If you’re taking photos for different location, as long as the photo represent the actual locations, there shouldn’t be any issue.

My personal opinion, just taking a photo of a cup doesn’t really add value to the location. It would be good to add something in the background that shows the location itself. Maybe zoom out a bit to show where in the cafe you sit.
