I just got a notification from Google Maps saying I ranked in the top 10% of indoor accommodation reviewers. Well, this has been the case for quite a while and now I am curious do we have any Local Guides here who’ve made it to the top 1% for accommodation or restaurant reviews? That would be really awesome to see!

I often get notification of being Top 10% of restaurant reviewers, but ut seems a bit fake as I don’t visit many restaurants. Maybe it’s because they’re so few active LGs in my country.
I just did a search and saw an old post by @AdventuresWithRosy in February 2020 showing Top 1% position. Top 1% Club, Who's in it?
As you mention this Tony, I realize haven’t seen this message for a long time - possibly two years ago, when I saw it the last time and was also doubting if those numbers had a real base.
Thinking about it, I also realize that most of my contributions are no longer about places in my home town, but many others … possibly the reason, why I don’t see those messages anymore.
I need to correct myself, “haven’t seen” doesn’t really mean, there were none of those messages. It rather seems, I overlooked them and supposedly, I am also among the top 10% of restaurant reviewers. The funny thing with this message: it is not even a restaurant, but only B&B and - as usual - I already did write a review years ago:
