After deliberation and some research on my own I come to you with a somewhat trivial dilemma.
My concern is the tally when I’m on my profile and click “ see all my reviews”. The upvotes are not being tallied. (Under badges another observation is the facts checked verify 3 edits - has not moved although I have verified several edits)
Reviews •ratings •helpful votes •views
The bottom line is when I search my area on maps ie my home base where I’ve have been an active maps user, I can see my reviews at particular establishments. They show my upvotes. ( I might add the votes are there sometimes and then sometimes they are not).
My apologies if this is a simple answer - If have done something out of the rules, which I believe I have not-because I’m enjoying the Guides and plan to be very active since I do travel and appreciate what the guides has been developed
I hoping there is a way to determine if there is a glitch or virus or something negative happening to my account.

I have tried a few tests; deleting app then reloading app. Turning off all settings the turning them back on.
I’m at the point where I may just stop contributing to maps for a month or so, which was one of the options offered in previous discussions on connect. This is not my wish.

First of all I would suggest you to continue your passion while contributing to the google Map. Its wonderful to have you part of the extended team.
Which numbers you are looking for tallying wrt your contributions?
I can see you have posted 163 review out of which only 147 are public. Which means 16 of your reviews are hidden.
Likewise you have contributed 1223 photos out of which 1145 are public which means 78 of your contributed photos are hidden.
With your login you will be able to see all your contributions (even the hidden ones). You may check this using some other browser without login. You will realize the differences.
Lastly, I would suggest to change the category of this post from Achievements to How-tos.

Update. At this point I have deleted all but 2 reviews that were blocked. The blocked reviews were genuine with a few attempts to cut out any possible violation. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed these venues - st Pancras hotel and Royal Albert hall. Plus a few others. The two I’m missing that are hidden I will try again to locate and delete.
I wish there was a simply notice telling the reviewer that’s it was not posted for others to view.
