That’s right @Velvel , the locals who have been living around with the cactus for centuries definitely know a trick or two to consume the pulp, that I know for sure is nutritious and tasty as well.
Business trips took me to the US on a couple of occasions and sometimes to attend conference except this year when the event was canceled
I have been to almost 20+ states in the US but can’t decide which one is better. On a funny note, every street and every city in the US appears the same to me perhaps because I haven’t spent much time in each place and moreover the residential and commercial buildings seem to be fabricated from the same mold including the exterior color
Which parts of the US have you traveled to apart from LA? What are some interesting things you remember from recent your trips?
So cool @TusharSuradkar You’ve been to lots of States. This is one of my dream to explore and drive in the US. I’ve only been to the California state to attend Connect Live 2019 in San Jose. Before this amazing event, I’ve visited several famous cities in CA, such as LA, Beverly Hills, Berkeley, SF.
It was really a great and unforgettable experience
I also feel the same that every street and city in the US appears similar, but again every city, especially state will have their own characteristic.
As a Foodie, let me mention the interesting things related about eating in a restaurant. Restaurant in the US always provides free iced cold water and usually in a big cup. We have to give tip when paying the bill in a restaurant.
What was the farthest state that you have been so far?
I actually visited very few states, but every time I went to the US, I made sure to visit 3-4 neighboring states.
For example, if I am visiting a city for office work, on weekends I traveled to nearby 3-4 states.
Why did you not go to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon or even Seattle or the nearby natural parks like Yellowstone or Zion park during your visit to LA?
I consider that once we get a visa and a trip to the US, it is a free entry into every corner of the country and never lose an opportunity to explore other parts of interest.
I even maintain my own little map of cities and states that I have traveled to in the US
How were your trips to LA and Beverly Hills @Velvel ? Di you meet any Hollywood superstar?
If I had more time, I would be pleased to visit other states, too @TusharSuradkar . I couldn’t agree more with you that once we get a visa and a trip to the US, it is a free entry into every corner of the country. It’s a challenging experience to apply and get approved for the US visa, but once you get it, you could get a longer validity time and duration of stay. If you don’t mind to share, how long is the validity of you US visa?
Hahaha… As far I remembered from my sight, I didn’t meet the real Hollywood stars, but I could see the making process of some Hollywood movies in Universal Studios Hollywood . That was so awesome!
Talking about Beverly Hills, I really adore those luxury houses! And again, it’s one of my dream to have a house there hehehe…
I never got a chance to visit Universal Studios, so you lucked out getting a chance to see it and one day for sure you will have your house in Beverly Hills, Amen to that

I would like to explore New York , absolutely must visit NYC, the city that never sleep. I also would love to visit the happiest place on earth in the US both in Anaheim and Orlando . Do you know what I mean?

If possible, make sure to visit Times Square during both night and the day, both experiences are mesmerizing.
A word of caution about the Disney Lands is that there are too looong lines or queues during the peak seasons, though I don’t know which is the holiday season
Most Americans avoid going there during peak days.
Yes, I have mine ready too and also had my tickets booked for travel for June 3rd week way back in January 2020, but the plan was canceled due to the current global crisis. I have been to the top 20 cities in the US but never seen any of the natural parks like Zion Park, Antelope Canyon, or the Grand Canyon, so those are on my list for the next visit.
Thanks for the caution @TusharSuradkar So, that’s why doing a research to find non-peak season before deciding to buy a theme park ticket is the best thing to do.

My employer did the ticket and hotel bookings for me, it was a business trip. I think they have different terms and got the tickets postponed or something, who cares…

The list of places is on my bucket list and I am yet to visit.
I have visited only the top two places in Phoenix city.
I was scheduled to visit all the places in the 3rd week of June 2020 for which bookings were done as early as January 2020, which now stands cancelled owing to the current global crisis.

@TusharSuradkar , oh, I see. We have planned a trip, too, but to the Netherlands, Hungary, Belgium and Poland, and later had to cancel everything and try to get refunds for all the bookings made…
@TusharSuradkar , it was to be a trip around the Netherlands with tulip fields, mills, various cities, and a magic acoustic concert with short interim stays in Budapest, Brussels, and Krakow. We usually travel at low costs, so need to plan our trips extremely meticulously. But plans don’t help against coronavirus
