Dear connect community friends,
It’s also a great Sunday, when I shall be connecting with you for a real / fictitious story of encounter with a Leopard at Binsar forest, when we had been there 3 years back in cold conditions.
We had stayed at Binsar Forest Retreat, managed by Mr. Pritam .Since I was a regular morning walker, next morning decided to track through a forest to climb a height of 500 metres upto Zero Point, a highest point of Binsar.
My companion was a 16 year old Nepalese boy ,a helper of Retreat. We had thin stick in hands . I had found a tedious job to climb vertical climb ,but that boy moved ahead with a monkey’s style, I got surprised at his moving rhythm. Anyway, we could cover the halfway of the destination.
All of sudden, a mid sized Leopard appeared in the way ,I was completely shaken up with fear .Next moment, the boy shouted at laud voice, the Leopard stunned by this voice, starred and drawing his foot backwards and finally run away, in the meantime, half a dozen other helpers rushed to scene with iron rods in their hands. In these moments I got fainted.
When I returned to conscious, I found myself in the Retreat, surrounded by my family members, Retreat staffs with Mr. Pritam. He was furious at the Nepalese boy . But I overcame and told it was my plan and don’t punsh him because I gad choose a wrong tracking path .
I assume my inalienable friends would be patience to read my story as I promised in my last uploading about Binsar.
