An enchanting experience at the Engineering marvel. The Eiffel Tower

I explored the man-made Engineering wonder twice in a span of twenty-five years.

In the earlier instance, It called for fifteen minutes in the ticketing queue, and I enjoyed three hours on the tower.

Part of that was in scaling the stairs of the first two stories.

In the most recent occasion after twenty-five years, the situation changed.

It went on for three hours in various queues & that left only fifteen minutes for any indulgence at the top because of the upcoming events in the itinerary.

Taking the stairway was out of the question.

Nevertheless, that reflects the ever-rising popularity of the spot and also the need for absolute security.

While waiting in one of the queues, I snapped a picture of the statue of the Technology Master

And captured this video in the elevator while bidding adieus to the wonder.

Hi @C_T ,

I love the first shot! The Eiffel Tower is such an amazing experience. I remember when I was in Paris I was so overwhelmed by it. How long did you wait on the queue?

I actually didn’t make it to the top, because at that time the queues were so long I decided not to wait, but it’s amazing how you can see the tower from many different angles in the city. Did you like Paris?

Thanks, @DanniS

Paris is always fascinating and entertaining too.

As said, we went through five different queues before reaching the top and spent three hours approx in those.

Incidentally, one of the elevators was under maintenance on that particular day and that added to the long wait.

I enjoyed Paris no doubt. There were many new spots on the itinerary. Nevertheless, I regretted missing a revisit to the Louvre.
