I’ve always enjoyed food, and I like to take my time with it. Whether it’s making it, discovering new recipes or places, or anything in between, food it’s where my heart is. That’s because every food experience can and should be shared. It can be physically, when going out with friends or even through photos and videos. Even if you can’t actually taste the food that your friends are posting, you can taste the enjoyment and the emotion.
Having said that, adult life doesn’t always allow us to have a full hour for lunch. The world is fast paced, and means that we must take advantage of every second.
Whenever I need to grab a quick bite, I immediately turn to Google Maps, because I know that I can find updated wait times, schedules, or even recently opened restaurants. When I realized the importance of having updated information regarding food, I decided to join the effort. Whether it’s a regular burger at a fast food chain, a wonderful new dish from a food truck or a quaint small shop near the beach, I love sharing food eperiences.
The reason I take this so seriously, is that the local community in Costa Rica, my home country, is still growing. C****osta Rica is a country that is heavily dependant on tourism, and mapping key places like restaurants and local eateries, can help our small businesses grow, along with the rest of the countries.
