I can see this topic has been discussed. But I really don’t see a solution. I used to receive emails with subjects:
[name], your [month] as a Local Guide
My last one was early March for February. With the pandemic, I have not been anywhere to review. I created a new review yesterday only to discover ALL of my previous reviews and points are totally gone.
What happened?
I was a Local Guide • Level 5 • 582 points
Why should I bother posting reviews on Google? This is disheartening. I had great reveiws. Many with pictures.
As far as I can see on your Google Maps profile, you are still a level 5 Local Guide and you now have 624 points. Can you tell me if you need further assistance? I would be glad to help.
I also wanted to inform you that I am moving your post to the How-tos board, which is the most appropriate section for this kind of questions. To know more about the forum and its topics, I suggest you take a look at Your guide to Connect.
I find that the count of “Answers to the questions” is zero on your profile.
You haven’t answered any questions about the places visited, is highly unlikely. Nevertheless, deletion of answers would happen if you have chosen to delete the app history after every three or eighteen months.
Many contributors chose that option for the sake of enhanced privacy but without understanding the fact it would delete the answers also.
I suggest you examine the setting once again and make a change to retain the app history forever.
Further, out of the thirty-two reviews, five are not visible to the public.
Though that is not affecting the points, that can cause a loss of the badges.
Hello @Cardinal I’m sure you have a great time with your photos & reviews but your points & reviews & photos have disappeared That’s OK it will come soon (Please mark this comment into a solution)
We may have found the problem. You have given me a link to where my points are. However, when I just reviewed a local establishment it goes to a different google guide.
How did this happen? Why are there two attached to me?
Please keep in mind that the author of the post, Google Moderators, or Connect Moderators, who have the ability to accept solutions on a post, will mark the answer it actually solves the issue. That shouldn’t be solicited from your side. Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you. While the solution didn’t show up in the comments, what became clear is for some reason, my last review was attributed to by business email (logged into). I don’t quite know how that happened since I have never used it for reviews. I disabled that account as recommended by someone on this. I will repost the review under the correct account.
