Alice in Bloomland - Royal Botanical Gardens Canada

Hello Guiders,

I hope that by the time you read this material, you are all well!

After a few months without writing, today I am here to share with you an experience of a very cool exhibition inside the Royal Botanical Gardens Canada (https://maps.app.goo.gl/b9y3G1buH1i2rxWK6 ).

The Botanical Garden itself is already an incredible experience, as it is a huge park, with many activities (fishing area, playground for children, walking area, many plants - at this time of year they are not yet in bloom, as we have just started spring here, but soon everything will be very colorful).

This time we went to see the Alice Bloomland exhibition, which was on display from February 1st to March 30th. The exhibition is beautiful, and portrays Alice’s world through flowers and plants. An interactive exhibition, with spaces for photos and filming, and a creative space for children (where they could plant their own plants in a pot and draw on the pot).

The exhibition area is wonderful for receiving customers, especially those with disabilities and low mobility: The park’s parking lot has spaces for the disabled, the entrance has automatic doors, and there is humanitarian assistance with employees who know sign language, in addition to having material in Braille. All floors have elevators, accessible bathrooms (alarms to open the doors in case of an accident, automatic doors, automatic sinks, automatic waste bins and soap dispensers).

In addition, the outdoor area has good walkways for people in wheelchairs, walkers, canes and families with baby strollers.

The place has an indoor cafÊ area and a tea house in the outdoor area.

There is a fee for admission, and the price will depend on the exhibition or the day of the visit.

For those who come to Canada, it is definitely a trip worth taking.

I hope you enjoy the post!
