Hello @Hadjira ,

Thank you for sharing this photo with us, the couscous looks very delicious! Did you make it on your own?

Is there a difference between the Algerian and the Moroccan couscous?

As a person who grew up in Morocco, couscous is mainly served on Fridays for lunch. Is it the case in Algeria as well?

@BorrisS helllo ,

Yes i did this couscous at home , and yes you are right its soo delicious ,

So about algerian and moroccan couscous , i live in a city near to morroco , so its tipically the same manner , maybe few diffrence in spices , but if i go to the east side of algeria , its different , like with a white sauce and different spices .

And yes its like in morocco , we cook it friday , because the weekend in algeria is friday saturday , so every friday we cook for lunch on of the traditional food ,

I am really blessed with the delicious KusKus. Of course it’s a routine meal but perfect nutritious and delicious. Origin be Maghreb or else but pearl millet could travel to Subcontinent about 2000 BC. Thank you very much.
