On AI-Petri there is a waterfall Wuchang su., but in summer its beauty is not possible to see, it dries up., but in autumn and spring you can admire it. You can also ride a horse on the plateau. At the top of the mountain is the Mishor-AI-Petri cable car. its length is 2980m, it is the longest cable car in Europe and it is listed in the Guinness book of records.Very picturesque views open from here, you can see the panoramas of Foros and Gurzuf.,Yalta.
The most surprising thing is that over the abyss, between the teeth of the mountain to pull the “suspension bridge” rope Bridge and in a strong wind it shakes. This is only for those who like extreme sports. Of course, the instructor will give instructions and fasten the safety rope. I didn’t risk set foot on that bridge. Would you risk @MaxWalsh ?
If you look closely at my photos in the album, you can see a rope bridge between the teeth of AI-Petri
There is an interesting legend about mount AI-Petri among local residents. The young people loved each other and decided to get married. But their parents were against it.,they did not want to consent to this Union. Then the young people decided to leave their lives, jumped from a high cliff. The first to jump was a guy named Peter. When the girl saw that it crashed, she cried out in fear: "ay, Peter. "The girl did not dare to jump off the cliff and remained alive.
Thank you @helga19 for highlighting this great place. The cable car ride of 2980m must be so impressive (how long will that take?). The landscape looks great but it’s a bit hard to enjoy the pictures as the animation is so fast.
Interesting post @helga19 , it is a place that I did not know.
Without a doubt I would cross that bridge, I have read on the internet that there is usually a lot of fog throughout the year, I even went to see videos and it looks very interesting, I think it will be on my wish list.
Thank you so much @MaxWalsh for your comment. I am glad, that you like this place.
In my album there are photos without animation.
Yes, indeed, there are often fogs and the most courageous decides to walk on a rope ladder and walk in the clouds!) In winter, there are ski trails that are no more than 1 km.The views are really spectacular and picturesque.
Although I have to be honest and say I find that with animated gifs the photos scroll to fast and it’s difficult for me at least to have a chance to see each individual photo closely enough, I enjoyed your post and photos.
Amazing another here @helga19 . This story also is interesting, so I enjoyed reading it. The rope bridge is visible , I saw it. Who dare to walk there !? what is the car cable please !? I didn’t notice it .
Oh @helga19 I just new now what car cables mean ! I didn’t know in the beginning because names are different and depends on how each country name it . When I was in United States long back ago, I visited New Mexico State with couple of friends from different countries in the world, in that state, there is a part of land called Sandia Peak for tourism and it’s a part of Albuquerque City. We Did board in the Tram Way, they call it in America ( Tram Way ) not ( Car Cable ) . it’s different in names. A Tram Way can be on a land surfaces also for different Tous , like a short Train. Oh , Helga this time I brought the photos of Car Cable to your post . So now, you didn’t miss any photos included to your post, hahaha. Here are couple photos about the Tram Way taken by me while there
Thank you for your comment. Yes, the rope bridge is amazing. Only strong and brave man ,who like extrim sport and want to get adrenaline can walk on it., It is scary training.
The view from the top of Al-Petri is breathtaking.
