I’m Priyank Sharda Borkar from Indore, MP, India.
I’m on Level 06 on Google Maps.
01st May 2023 - I received Special Reward Mail.
02nd May 2023 - After redeeming the code, I received confirmation mail stating the Google Maps Pin was coming.
15th May 2023 - I received Tracking Number from Deutsche Post Customer Portal.
I waited a month as Local Guide Order Confirmation Mail said to wait up to 6 weeks.
I wanted to know about the status of my parcel, so I enquired about mail to Deutsche Post in Germany. And they didn’t give an answer to me except an auto-generated mail on 15th June 2023.
Then I tried to find a Customer Care/Help Mail of Local Guide or Brand Addition. But I was disappointed to not find any.
20th June 2023 - I stumbled upon the FAQ of Local Guides, where I Resubmitted my Redemption Code in the section of Missing/Damage Section for One-Time Replacement.
And I again received the Local Guide Confirmation Mail of Google Maps Pin.
I was enthralled by this tiny Reward as it was supposed to be my first. But the wait seems to be astronomical and then just everlasting as I didn’t receive any further info about the Parcel or Shipment.
04th July 2023 - I finally received a mail from Deutsche Post Customer Service. It stated that the Parcel is missing and I should contact the Sender.
I had enough. I’m frustrated.
I needed to find any kind of Customer Care/Helpline Mail, but unfortunately, I’m unable to.
At last, I ended up here, which I’m not happy about. Because I need to make an unnecessary Profile on this Forum just ask a Simple Query Will I ever receive my Google Maps Pin ever or not?
