What comes to your mind when you hear Africa? Dusty terrains? Savannah? Safari?
Africa is much more than that. I live in Kampala Uganda and we have do have busy streets, nice buildings and pretty malls just like you’d find in any other city.
Ever since I became a local guide, I have been sharing photos and reviews from all kinds of different places. I’ve posted malls, restaurants, beaches, resorts and many others. And the reason I love sharing information, especially photos of my city on Google maps, is because I want people to see the amazing things we have in this city. I want to break the stereotypes surrounding African countries like mine.
I also love sharing on Google Maps because I just enjoy showing people my city and I am passionate about helping people out. I am a firm believer that information is one of the best ways you can help people and that is why I am proud to be a local guide because I feel that I am contributing to a greater cause and adding to the vast base of human knowledge.
