A nice photo of what looks like an interesting beach @Onukakalu . Are these huts typical on beaches in Nigeria or this part of it? Also, are they free to use and on a first-come basis or do beach goers have to pay a fee for their use?

It has many thatched roof huts for visitors to relax and have an aesthetic view of the sea wave while enjoying the sea breeze. This is what makes it unique from other beaches apart from a few others. It is a large beach an so can contain few hundreds of visitors. The beach is privately managed so you are expected to pay a token for keeping the beach in order. Fee for adult is a thousand naira and five hundred naira per child, which is presently about 2.66 and 1.33 dollars respectively. Thanks @AdamGT for your comments.

Thank you for your detailed reply @Onukakalu and I see from your further photos that it is certainly quite large and is a local attraction.

Was here in March, I never knew it was so ‘far in’! I miscalculated! Next time, I want to go, I will be sure to leave very early. I loved seeing the huts too!

What I loved most about it was the entrance fee’s affordability and that it had a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a hall very close by that one could have a reception if one decided to host a beach wedding or something @Onukakalu
