The artworks of Bangladesh have taken place in various important exhibitions and events around the world. Besides, the work of artists from all over the world including Asia is being exhibited in the country. Dhaka Art Summit is one such event. Through this exhibition, artists can exchange their ideas and experiences. Many new mediums, materials, and modern technologies have been incorporated into contemporary artworks. This exhibition has its manifestations.
The artists have highlighted the way in which the people of Bangladesh have faced natural disasters and are moving forward with their indomitable spirit. Besides, the ancient cultural heritage and struggle history of Bengali has also come up in it.
Dhaka Art Summit has been organized since 2012 with the aim of seeing the works of famous and promising artists from different regions of the world and creating opportunities for their direct idea exchange. This non-commercial exhibition organized by Samdani Art Foundation is organized every two years. The last summit was held in 2020.
