the validation of the modified route how does it go?

Is it done randomly?
Updates are very slow, about a month if you’re lucky.
I want to understand how it works, I don’t like wasting time fixing a way that might not be published!!

Hi @Redouane , thank you for asking.
On my personal experience 50% of the added routes are approved withing 1 to 3 days. The first approval, for routes that are clearly visible, is made directly by an AI. If the AI is not able to confirm your edit most of the remaining routes are sent to moderation. A human operator normally confirm the new routes in a couple of months (many of my edits made in April - May were approved recently).
Please note that all the edits mentioned above includes at least a new added road. If you are talking about the simple modification of a shape however the approval become more difficult, to prevent users to “trick the game” by simply moving a single point of the road just to get some point. In the past I was used to fix a lot of shapes(Correct Road Shapes in Google Maps - “Follow the Blue Line” ), but now this is a kind of edit that is not frequently approved.

After a week of waiting for a response, I find incomprehensible and illogical talk.
I agree with you @ErmesT but as moderator connect i thing your updates may get priority, for me too sometime my edit approved in 1week, 3 week, sometime maybe 3 months. I ask why randomness.
Don’t tell me that a human being does the approval or rejection. Maybe that was before 2017.
Road that do not exist have been deleted and the modification has not been accepted or remains in the endless waiting list. Maps of Morocco are in disastrous condition. At least Google should download Waze maps and use them because they are more reliable. And we have an active Community in a stricter, and far from random way or any spamming.

Nope, @Redouane , regarding contributions in Maps there is no priority for anyone, and moderators are just Local Guides like you.
You waited a week because you posted in a board that is not related to your issue, that’s why I asked to a Googler to move it in the proper section.
Adding road is an activity that require a lot of attention to the details, but the approval process is improved, and I have an average of 30 to 60 roads approved every day. I suggest you to go through the post I shared with you and the ones linked at the end of that post to see how the program evolved, and the moderation process evolved too.
I’ve seen a lot of improvements in the last 10 months, and the AI right now is able to recognize much more roads than 6 months ago.
I will try to add some more roads in your country (I’ve added already a few hundreds in there) to see how the AI is reacting

about the exception to the moderator, I speak from my experience on google map maker.
I read your suggestions and your guideline, it’s very useful, and I agree with you, but I don’t agree with the system. artificial intelligence or Bots are not absolutely useful in all cases
Most of the time it is not possible to add each part separately.
Since the road network is intertwined and approval is delayed, it is better, in my opinion, to construct the new road and repair the road associated with it.
It is not reasonable for me to add a part and leave the part associated with it incorrectly, and it is not reasonable to create a part and send it and come back after two months to complete it. I will give you an example : ( 33.899302844516555, -5.519261861592399 )
Imagine yourself driving a car on this road, and the app asks you to turn on roads that are not allowed or does not ask you to turn in the roundabout because it does not exist.
the roads sometimes add in an unspecified way because anyone can modify any road in the worlds. this is not the case on any other map which means that you have to be on the road recently for update it.
