Today I clarified how this function works. I usually just walked and walked a long distance. But recently I learned about these features Google Map.
And today I walked for half a day, focusing on questions on supplementing information or on specifying places. That was not easy:
- you have to stop for 1-2 minutes around any places;
- very often you need actual photos, but I have a hesitation to take a photo in public;
- Sometimes it’s strange places and strange questions Google Maps.
P.S. How to find a function? In the context menu (menu on the left) select “your impressions”; further scroll down the menu, and notice 2 links orange and green. Each of them has its own functions.
Cards give few points for such actions (for example, for “opening a place” is given up to 25 points, and for its refinement it is it at all or not - only 2-5). But I am sure that this information is often very useful.

Hi @smyx1212
You can also edit specific information about places already listed on Google Maps.
Just click on the name of the place and review the information already given. If you think there is updated info to be added click on “Suggest an edit” and the prompts will guide you from there.
You can also research said places via Google search directly.

Hi @LeeBee-SA
It is not always realizable.
If you open through standard maps, you can not see many places. They, as I understand it, are in some kind of archive. That is, Google Map still knows if these places exist; and in some cases no one has addressed them for a very long time.
Sometimes I delete some places. Perhaps part of the error; although perhaps this is correct. After all, in places such a function shows 5 - 8 pluses with questions, although there are obviously only 3 places.
I think this happens when one store first opened; Then he moved and opened a new one - but information about the old is still on the map in stealth mode. I just additionally write a request that this place is not - I think that Google remembers, but hides it even more so as not to load servers.
