Adding Exact Road in location adress

In Google maps, if I want to update the address that it’s on a particular road, how do I do that. I tried “located Within” option, but road name is not coming in search in that field at all. If I needed I could share exact details also.

Hi, @s.jain416!
The name of the road can be included into the address. If the name of the road doesn’t appear on the address, you can edit the name road first, and you can include the name of the road to the address of a place you want to edit later.

“Located within” in my opinion usually used for a place that located inside a bigger place or being part of a bigger place. For example, G shop is located inside H shopping mall. So, when you edit “G shop”, you can enter “H Shopping Mall” at the “located within” column. For another example, when you edit a public toilet inside a L park. you can fill “L Park” at the column. Don’t fill the “located within” by a name of district, city, or other administrative division.

here is the complete procedure for fixing an address: Fix a missing address or wrong pin location - Computer - Google Maps Help
Just select the device that you are using from the header of the article and follow the steps mentioned in there.
Located within, like @ALG87 said, is a different type of information. For more information about that feature you can read: Local Guides Tips: How to add “Located Within” in Google Maps
