I added a place on Google Maps - a guesthouse that was rejected immediately - Google can’t confirm your added business.
I am Google Local Guide 7 - why would I add some fake place?
There is no way to correct anything or know what is wrong.
This is clearly a fault in Google Business/Maps and there is no way to correct it or point the Google team that this is an error or bug.
Keep in mind that private homes, homes and rooms for rent (or sale) are not entitled to have a pin on Google Maps.

@Hakon Local Guides level has nothing to do with how a place is added/rejected. There are some level 10 Local Guides that are known to spam, but somehow got undetected. Google various ways of determining whether your submission is legit or not, by combination of machine learning and human review. It looks like currently the system has determine that your submission for this particular place is not valid. You can try another time later and in the meantime, keep making contributions for other places to build trust.
Ok @MortenCopenhagen I will have visited you and followed you on IG .thank you for sharingI will have visited you and followed you on IG .thank you for sharing.
But if it is a guesthouse - how can I add it?
I don’t think you can.
I know there are a ton of guest houses on Google Maps in some countries. But if it is basically a private home renting out one or a few rooms. Then it should not be on Google Maps.
Cheers

Hi @Hakon Did you try to add it as a business? I mean instead of adding it as a POI. There are these two options if you do a right click on the map.
If it’s a permanent place of accomodation it should be legit to be added.
Accomodations have a high priority on Maps so this is the reason for some difficulties in editing them.
You can also try to get consulting at the Maps forum in your country.
Please note that adding a business can only be done by the owner, because you are supposed to manage it then.
An alternative option for finding a fitting category is the Pleper list.
