Many times I have found that my location on map differs from the place (as shown in maps) shown in maps. Screenshot is given below - at that time I was standing on the spot
I am raising the issue because when I am adding a place on the maps that will not be accurate too.
So how I can know that maps is showing my location accurately?

A lot of things can affect this.
The accuracy of the GPS in your phone (or difficulties in “seeing” the satellites).
The other place on Google Maps might not be in the correct spot.
I believe the recommended procedure is to turn on Satellite View in Google Maps. This way you can better determine where to position the pin.

@2401 when you add location please turn on Satellite View in Google Maps . Because there you can see the exact place its help more accurate location .
