Some days ago I wanted to publish posts related to accessibility, something increasingly important for all types of organizations in order to help those who want access to services like any other. In this case, I did some research at the University of Lima, one of the best known private educational institutions in Peru. I´ve been inspired by great Connect/Google friends @Jesi and @EmekaUlor who always stepping in when it matters. Setting the example guys! 1000 kudos to you!
I could see that the University makes efforts to provide accessibility to people.
1st case Lift specially designed for wheelchairs.
This elevator takes the person to the parking lots located in basements 3, 2 and 1.
2nd case Multiple parking lots reserved for people with disabilities. The remarkable thing is that there are many parking lots specially reserved for them, which is certainly positive.
This is one of many examples of companies that want to do things right. As a result, more and more organizations will begin to implement action plans to make this world a more egalitarian place.
Well done @marcorp . Since I became a Local Guide, I’ve been more concerned about accessibility. It is great what you did. @EmekaUlor e @Jesi will love it.
That’s great, @marcorp . They do seem to really put efforts into accessibility, at least on the parking area. I’ve never seen a lift like that especially just for a parking. I usually just find them in buildings here, and not that many.
@marcorp gradully you are uncovering accessible places in your city. This surely is an evidence that some places and people take these things seriously. I believe my looking we could find more, add them to the maps and make the world more inclusive.
