Sukhna Lake is one the famous tourist spot in Chandigarh, India.The lake is 3km long and 4.88m deep it was built in a year 1958. It is located in sector no 1 of Chandigarh.
Sukhna Lake is also a sanctuary for many exotic migratory birds like siberian ducks, storks and cranes during the winter season.The lake has been declared as a protected national wetland by the Government of India.There was a time this lake was a home to crocodiles now there none to be seen.
The lake is just not a body getting its water from a small canal of the river, but it has become the city’s most happening spot. The place offers you the best. All in all from old folk taking a walk to hanging out with one’s amigos to spending some quality time with ones’ partner, the lake has undoubtedly won the heart of everyone.
There is no entry charge for the Sukhna lake unless you like to do some activities.

The highlight of this place is they have kept a vaccination booth so you can get yourself vaccinated right over here. This is best initiative taken by the government.
This places truly make justice on the name of equality and i am really thankful to the government for making it happen for every person.

Is on the spot vaccination allowed? Co-win registration would be required right? Also there is no crowd at all. People who needs to get vaccinated should know this place for sure.

that question had occurred at that moment in my mind but I believe it was walking with government documents.
As we also saw drive way covid test in Chandigarh you don’t need even to come out of your car that’s really amazing. There was no que no appointment needed simply walk in.

Hi @TravellerG probably yes as its a universal rule of our country but it won’t be taking longer time to schedule the appointment that’s why they have kept vaccination centre on tourist place.
