Today on International Wheelchair Day, we are going to talk about Community Health Center (CHC Jotana) (also wrote the review) that hospital where all the big and small diseases of the villagers are treated.
About CHC Jotana
Community Health Center, Jotana is a government hospital in Jotana, Mahesana district, Gujarat that provides healthcare services. It’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Main Gate
The hospital is located right next to the road, which ensures that patients do not have to face off-roading. Another thing I liked was that the entrance to the hospital gate is wheelchair accessible.
Accessible Entrance of Hospital Ward
A better ramp for wheelchair has been built in front of the main entrance of this hospital to the entrance of ward. With this, disabled people can move their wheelchair very easily.
Ambulance or Emergency Servises
The best thing is that there is an ambulance here. Now you might be laughing at this thing that what is new in this. I am saying this because I have seen many such hospitals where there is an ambulance but it is not in running condition. However in this case everything is better.
Fire Equipment
As you can see in the photo taken by me, fire equipment has been hung on the side wall of the ward entrance so that in case of fire, it can be controlled.
Wheelchair or Strecher
I saw a wheelchair and stretcher at the gate of the ward and it was in the best condition, ready to use.
Oxygen Plant
The best thing is that during the Corona period (COVID-19), when the whole world was in a hurry for oxygen, India was also not behind. And today it is a matter of great happiness to see a plant in a hospital. Even though this has been done by a private organization (Steel Strips Wheel Ltd.), but if the government and private institutions get inspired by this and work together, then perhaps such disasters can be avoided in the future.
