So last year during a meet-up when we were exploring the local businesses in the Taltala area of Kolkata, we got tired and decided to have lunch in the Bar-B-Q Restaurant, a popular Chinese restaurant in the area.
When we stepped in, I found that this restaurant has a wheelchair-accessible entrance. After entering, when we started moving towards the stairs, I saw an Acorn stairlift.
Honestly, this was the first time I saw this, as before I didn’t even know that this kind of thing even exist, as it’s very rare in India.
Accessibility is a recent trend in many parts of India. Nowadays more and more restaurants, tourist places, and attractions have started providing accessible facilities.
Although this is a good accessible feature in this restaurant, it lacks a wheelchair-accessible car park or a dedicated seating area.
Anyway, providing this accessibility facility is a good start and a great initiative. I think in the future more businesses will be added in providing accessibility facilities lists. I have also given a review mentioning the accessibility facility.

Das sind fantastische Einrichtungen und sehr lobenswert. @Shaunak Sicher gehen diese Einrichtungen auch auf eure Bemühungen bezüglich der Barrierefreiheit zurück. Ich kenne bisher diese Treppenlifte nur für private Häuser.
