At a distance of around 3km from aurangabad railway station and around 4km from BiBi Ka Maqbara, siddharth Garden is a sprawling Garden, park and Zoo together situatied at samarth Nagar in aurangabad city(sambhajinagar) Maharashtra
Now the major attraction of the tourist is the siddharth Garden Zoo
The Zoo is the abode of a number of wild animals like white tiger, yellow Tiger, leopard, crocodile, deer, black buck etc with snakes in snakes house , and different birds at birds side.
Zoo is very famous as its one and only in Marathwada district. While my vist i saw many school trip from different parts of district have came . And the joy and happiness on the faces of kids was just amazing.
This is an ideal place to spend your day amidst nature and wildlife. And suitable for people of all age groups .
Thank you very much for sharing @Ru_pali4 . It’s nice to tell you about the culture of the place you live in. A little tip for you. Include as few people as possible in the photos.
You took me in my college days through your post. I lived in Aurangabad for 3 year for my engineering. In my college time I had spent most of the time in Siddharth Garden. Many things are new now. You have nicely covered all the information about the zoo. All the photos are nice. I will visit for sure when i would be in Aurangabad. Thanks for refreshing my golden memories through your post @Ru_pali4 .
Saludos
Thanks @Gezendunyali for ur valuable comments but the place was so crowded it was nearly impossible to take pic without people. And the pic which shows school students at snake house i have taken that intentionally so that i can share pic of school trip.
Thanks for liking it @Rohan10 i have also spend my 3 year in aurangabad for engineering. I have the same feeling as u have.its just nostalgic to visit siddharth Garden.
@TusharSuradkar I have done 3 years Diploma after SSC so i got direct admission to 2nd year Engineering. There is always separate admission for Direct admission to 2nd year Engineering for Diploma students. So 3 years Engineering only… I was living at Nandanvan Colony. It was best colony to live.
It’s lovely to hear that you had a good time and that the zoo was well-kept and beautiful. I’m sure the animals were also happy to have visitors. I’m sure many people who read about your visit to the zoo will be encouraged to visit too. @Ru_pali4 Thanks for sharing your experience!
