Sunway Lagoon is absolutely a one-stop theme park with tens of attractions for leisure, adventure and fun irrespective of age. Sunway Lagoon is surrounded by Sunway Pyramid Mall, Sunway University, Sunway Hotels and Spa; the environment is all Sunways, hahaha.
I really had fun and quality time visiting this place, it is a “MUST” for any fun and adventure seeker if you’re in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There’s amusement park, water park, bungee jump, zip lining, wildlife, nickelodeon lost, jungle fury, go-karts, sponge-bob splash, suspended canopy walk, zulu walk, waterfalls, lake kayaking, g-force, explorers trails, scream ghost, and many more which I don’t even know their names.
Actually, it’s impossible to do everything in just a day visit because the side attractions are many. You can only choose based on your preference for the first time, and may be in your subsequent visits you try the remaining.
The regular admission fee starts from USD70 for adult non-citizens while kids and aged people pay a bit lesser. Of course citizens pay the least fee. However, when you book online, there is discount and there are different packages offered at promotional fees depending on one’s needs.
Your visit here would be more awesome if you are with family or group of friends, you’ll equally enjoy some discount for booking as family or group. Also, there are mostly long queues at the counter especially in public holidays and weekends.
There are shops to buy swim/beach wears (come along with yours because it is expensive here), ice creams, snacks, food, etcetera. There are auto-lockers where you can lock your valuables charged on hourly basis.
Once you are here, you’ll spend the rest of the day here. So, I recommend you to arrive in the morning and spend the whole day until they close at 6:00pm: Through that, you can enjoy the full value for your money.
