A Trek To Tikona Fort

Last Year In the month of July we visited a amazing fort in Maharashtra name “Tikona”.Group of 8 friends we reach there with our bikes. As in July rainy season has been already started in India which enhances the beauty of fort vividly. It’s kind of rough trek towards the fort but each moment is memorable throughout our life.Stairs to the fort are little bit slippery.at the middle of fort there’s a old temple of lord Shiva. The view from top of the fort is way beautiful. This Fort basically used for communication purpose at old times.Side of fort there’s Pavana Dam.View of Dam can enjoyed perfectly from fort top.

Hi @Hrishi7 , @TheEagleEye , @user_not_found ,

Here are some of my photos from Malyovitsa, a peak in Rila mountain in Bulgaria. I’m also a huge fan of trekking and I like to go to the mountain, not only during the summer, but every time when the weather allows. We have snow and low temperatures during the winters here, however when it is sunny and not windy, the mountains are really welcoming for trekking.

Thanks for sharing beautiful photos @KatyaL and story. Are you Bulgarian? I’m still to visit Bulgaria and hope to do so this year.

Hey @TheEagleEye ,

Yes, I live in BG. When do you plan to visit the country? Are you coming during the summer season or sooner?

Not sure of when yet @KatyaL . I’ve been living in Prague for 9 months now and for a while longer. Probably in Summer I will go there. Have a nice day.

Hi @TheEagleEye ,

I think summer is the best time to visit the country if you are a fan of warm weather and sandy beaches

If you need any travel tips, please let me know.

I’m looking forward to check out your post. I really enjoy trekking on foot most of the time, but I also like cycling!

I’m really happy you like the Local Guides program and I hope you have fun here!
