One of the greatest times I had is when I spent my summer at Camp Gideon in Acworth, Atlanta Georgia USA. It was a refreshing time full of fun and adventure. Thanks to My hosts Gib and Robin Gibson who run the camp. Teens and children enjoy day camps during the summer season where they enjoy a lot of fun activities and learn a lot.
@PaulPavlinovich yeah its a campsite in Acworth Atlanta Georgia with a lot of fun activities. I found out about it from Gib Gibson who runs the camp when he had visited Kenya, he invited me to visit the summer of 2017…#UNFORGETABLE
Thanks for sharing! I enlarged your photos so we can really see the beauty of this place. Was this your first time visiting this camp? How long did you stay there? It looks like a lot of fun.
Was this an expensive trip? What did you enjoy most here? I’d love to try the kayaking, it looks really cool. Oh I love lakes, can you swim there too?
@DanniS You are most welcome and thanks for enlarging the photos, am sure everyone who see them is enjoying them. Yeah that was my first time to the Camp and the United States. I stayed there for only three weeks then headed to the Ormold beach in Florida (that’s the story for another day). It is crazy fun especially if you like working with kids because it’s mostly a kids and teens summer camp. What I enjoyed most was kayaking as you can guess, being my first time I loved the sport. You should try it, its not hard. The lake is open for swimming, fishing, jet skiing (tried it…it scared a hell out of me) and many other water fun activities. Personally I did not pay for my stay in the US so I may not be able to tell you the cost of stay but I paid for my airfare which was about $ 1,500 US Dollars for a return ticket from Kenya. If interested you can Google Camp Gideon Atlanta, Georgia.
@Robkenya Thanks for your reply! Those kinds of outdoor activities are the best. I’d love to see some nature photos of Kenya as well. I’ve heard it’s amazing.
@DanniS Its amazing, I’ll post what I have. Unfortunately I lost a whole collection of photos when my memory card clashed (I’ve not yet recovered from it completely).
