As a human being, everyone loves to travel. I also have a dream to travel the whole world. But first of all I would like travel all the interesting and tourist places of my country, Bangladesh. I already have visited some of the places. Among them, Khagrachari tour was one of my best tour till now as it was not a planned tour at all. I made a sudden trip to Khagrachari in 12 March of this year.
I was meeting with a friend around 8:30 pm on 11 March. Both of us was tired and wanted to be refreshed. So we wanted to go somewhere and we thought of many places. At last we decided to go to Khagrachari as there is a friend of us in Khagrachari. We called and informed him that we are coming. Then we immediately went to Panthapath for bus ticket and luckily we got two tickets. Journey began. We could not sleep in the night as the roads of the mountains were ups and down and zigzag. By 6 am, we reached our destination.
After getting down from bus, we freshen up and called the friend to come. When he came, we took our breakfast together and went to visit our first destination ‘Alutila Guha’. It is mainly a small cave and water flows in ground. It takes 7 to 10 minutes to cross the cave. There are dark inside the cave and we had a torch. After that we took rest for a while and enjoyed the beauty above from the mountain.

Next we went to a place named ‘Shorger Siri’ or ‘Hatir Matha’. It is mainly a staircase to cross a tilla. It takes almost 1:45 to 2 hours to reach the destination from road and you have to go all the way by foot. At first we crossed a river and then two small tillas and one big tilla and after we reached our destination. We were so tired and in the midway we drank coconut water and saline water. But after reaching ‘Shorger Siri’, we forgot about our tiredness. The beautiful scenario from the mountain was amazing. We spent a little time there then we went back to the town again.

It was already lunch time, and we took our lunch in a local restaurant.
After taking lunch and resting for a while, we went to Khagrachari HDCH Park. This park is well known for a hanging bridge. Besides there are many shops, food stalls, rides for the travelers to enjoy. We ate Mundi (local name) in a restaurant which is actually a rice noodles soup served with lemon. The soup was too good and tasty.

From there we went to an another place which is known as Newzealand Para locally for its beauty. It is mainly flat area with paddy field. You can get a most beautiful view at the time of sunset from there. This place will definitely relax you. We were also delighted by visiting this place. We spent time and gossiped there for a while. After that we went back to the town again and had our dinner. We collected our return ticket from the bus counter in the noon. So we went to the bus counter and waited for our bus. Bus came at time and we got in it and returned to Dhaka by morning.
It was such a nice trip without any plan and it didn’t cost much as a day tour. I wish to go somewhere else like this one day tour without planning before.
