A special light-up event "Daigo Light" has started at Fukuroda Fall, Daigo Town.

Fukuroda fall“袋田の滝” is one of the three famous falls“日本三名瀑” of Japan.

It is located in Kuji county, Daigo town“久慈郡大子町”, northern part of Ibaraki prefecture“茨城県”.

When the leaves turns red and yellow, a light up event called Daigo light“大子来人” begans at Fukuroda Fall“袋田の滝”. The Kanji character “来人” means visitors and the Chinese reading is “light”. So, it is a light up event for attracting customers after the kanji reading of visitors.

The special light up is held from November 1st to January 31. The entrance fee is 300 Japanese yen for adults and 150 Japanese yen for children.

A light installation reminiscent of the four seasons of Japan is held in the tunnel leading to the viewing platform.

The waterfall is illuminated with natural blue light, and the appearance in the dark is like a waterfall drawn in a black and white painting in Chinese ink“水墨画”.

If you’re interested in waterfalls of Japan, I recommend you to take a visit to Fukuroda fall“袋田の滝” and enjoy the beautiful nightscape and the light installation.

Amazing photos of the waterfall @preceramic san. They look surreal - what camera did you use to capture those photos?

Zanimljive i nevjerojatne fotografije @preceramic

Izgleda tako nestvarno, kao umjetničko djelo, kao naslikano.
