A more than five meter high robot named ‘Metropolis’ attracts a lot of attention since it was officially unveiled. Anytime i come around, i always notice the presence of kids and a lot tourist taking pics.
The Robot overlooks the entrance to the city of Enschede and it’s part of the metamorphosis that started since last year. Where it’s situated, there is also an interactive swing, a DJ table and colourful ground painting.
The Robot is part of the sixteenth edition of GoGBOT, a festival that focuses on creative technology giving both international artists and students to showcase their work.
