With all the Google I/O talk today and Google leaning more into AI across its products, I wanted to share a quick Ask Maps tip that I’ve actually found useful.
Instead of only asking basic stuff like “restaurants near me,” try asking it the way you would ask a friend. Something like, “Where can I take family visiting Dallas that has good food, parking, and isn’t too loud?” or “What’s a good coffee shop nearby where I can sit for a while and work?”
That’s where Ask Maps feels different to me. It pulls together reviews, place details, photos, and local info in a way that saves a lot of searching.
