A visit to Elmina's Castle (portuguese for the Miner's castle) in Cape Coast, Ghana is a great spectacle and attraction for tourists from all over the world. It has a Beach Resort that holds a beautiful poolside close to the seashore, beautiful rocks and crags close to the seashore as well, a Spa palour for massage treatment, a canopy walk for tourists to climb and view the spectacular scene below, just like the one I'm walking on, and a 15th century castle where slaves were kept prior to their departure to America and Europe for auctioneering. As a local guide, I love helping tourists gain a first hand knowledge about the strategic positioning and location of Elmina's Castle to the abolished slave trade which took place from the 15th century till the middle of the 19th century. I urge all tourists to pay a visit to Elmina's Castle in Ghana, West Africa. Thank you.503×720 149 KB
