So one day, me and my friend went out to grab some coffee and snacks late in the afternoon. We had already tried a lot of places in and around Dimapur. So we wanted to try another new place, after a while we stopped at a place named “Hope Cafe”, so we thought lets try this out today. We went in, gave our order at the counter and sat on one corner, then we started looking around the place and saw there were sign language posters on the wall, we were amused as to why they had kept such a peculiar thing.
After a while the waitress came in with our order and we said thank you and she replied us back in some sign language so i quickly turned around to see what that sign meant and when i looked in the poster, that sign was for “Welcome”. So by now we knew that there were special people working there, after a while we talked to the manager and she told us that everyone working in the cafe was a special person, and hence they put up all the sign language poster so that they could make people aware and also so that normal people could communicate with them. We were very happy and delighted to hear that and after some time, we had our coffee and pastries(which by the way were really good) and left the place and thought to our self we should come here often not because we sympathized them but because the coffee and pastries were great!
