A Memorable Day Exploring Putrajaya!

As soon as my younger sister and her husband landed in Malaysia for their vacation, we wasted no time and headed straight to Putrajaya—one of the most stunning and well-planned cities in the country. Just 32minutes from the airport, this city is a must-visit, known for its breathtaking architecture, serene lakes, and iconic landmarks.

Our first stop was McDonald’s by the Putrajaya Lake for a quick burger while soaking in the picturesque lake views. My cousin and I picked them up, and as we drove through the city, they were in awe of the incredible architectural designs—especially since both of them are architects!

Next, we visited the magnificent Putra Mosque, a true masterpiece situated beside the Prime Minister’s Office, overlooking the lake. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning pink-hued dome made the experience unforgettable. We explored the area, took in the views, and enjoyed the calm surroundings. Meanwhile, my husband joined us after work, making it a heartwarming reunion after a long time. To top it off, we witnessed a breathtaking sunset, adding a magical touch to the moment.

Our journey continued to the Iron Mosque (Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin)—a remarkable architectural wonder. The modern design and tranquil ambiance made me feel an extraordinary sense of peace. We also visited Perdana Square and several nearby attractions, making the most of our time in Putrajaya.

As always, I documented our journey through photos and added reviews on Google Maps to help fellow travelers. I also introduced my sister, brother-in-law, and cousins to the Google Maps and Connect platforms, sharing how they can contribute to the global community.

Photography has always been my passion—especially capturing landscapes, nature, and surroundings rather than people. That day, I took some beautiful shots, and I’m excited to share them with you all!

If you’re ever visiting Malaysia, Putrajaya, Putra Mosque, and Iron Mosque should definitely be on your travel checklist. The city’s charm, peaceful atmosphere, and architectural brilliance will leave you mesmerized!
